Mtre. Geoffroy Guilbault has specialized for more than 30 years in medical malpractice, and liability in general. His recognized expertise in these areas, as well as his intimate knowledge of the rules of personal injury assessment, make him a sought-after attorney not only by the victims of bodily injury, but also by other attorneys who refer him clients, by insurance companies for which he works in the field of aviation, as well as by multinationals seeking his expertise in these fields.

For 30 years, Mtre. Guilbault has developed a network of experts in all areas of liability. This list of experts, unique and coveted, is at the base of his success. Mtre. A frequent guest speaker, Mtre. Guilbault also teaches civil liability at the Quebec Bar School, the practice of medical liability as a guest lecturer in universities, as well as medical and hospital liability and bodily injury to an audience of lawyers specialized in the field.

Mtre. Guilbault has pleaded at all levels of court in the Province of Quebec. He believes, however, that the best representation of his clients is through perfectly prepared files where the other party has no choice but to negotiate.

Mtre. Marie-Lou Laprise has more than four years of experience in civil and commercial litigation in a major boutique law firm in downtown Montreal.

Mtre. Laprise has pleaded before all Quebec courts, from the Court of Quebec to the Court of Appeal, and before various administrative tribunals. Her experience includes representing plaintiffs and defendants in civil liability cases, representing insurers through every
stage of the proceedings, including in the field of aviation, and representing citizens in administrative disputes with various governmental bodies.

While working at Guilbault Legal, she is also devoting time to research projects and publications in the fields of civil law, comparative law and legal sociology.

Mtre. Laprise is currently on leave while pursuing a doctoral degree at Princeton University, in the United States.
